Can I take a Go-Pro extension arm or selfie stick on the ship?

    Ahoy, Robert!

Thanks for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

At this time, selfie sticks and GoPro extension arms are not on the list of prohibited items for Disney Cruise Line's ships. If you're planning to pack one for a Disney Cruise Line vacation, my best advice would be to call Disney Cruise Line directly at 1-800-951-3532 close to your sail date to make sure the policy hasn't changed before your sailing.

I know that selfie sticks are not allowed on the waterslides or in the Walt Disney Theatre during live stage performances. That being said, you should be able to use your photo equipment in other locations around the ship, as long as you're using it responsibly and not interfering with other guests.

I hope this helps with your planning and packing for an upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
