Are GoPro cameras and selfie sticks allowed? And if so, are they allowed on rides?

Hello Victor and thank you for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My family just loves using new gadgets and gizmos like GoPro cameras & selfie sticks and we enjoy getting back home and reliving the magical memories they've captured for us to treasure.
At Walt Disney World Resort all Cast Members are simply Wild About Safety of all their visiting Guests and should be consulted for current safety guidelines at all Attraction entrances; of course it goes without saying that GoPro cameras would need to be adequately secured on permitted rides at all times!
When using a selfie stick I believe the rules of both common sense and courtesy apply; for your further information you may wish to read the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules and Regulations.
If I can sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
    ~ Jane
