Hey there Graham and welcome to planDisney!
I might catch a little heat for saying this considering I'm from Louisiana and should be singing the praises of
Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside and
Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter. I love
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! It's my favorite
Moderate Resort Hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection and I'm not ashamed to say it.
The grounds are pretty sprawling as you pass through several different island ports of call to sail into the magic. To get to the
Disney Skyliner Station you're right, Graham, you do indeed have to cross Sea Breeze Drive. If you're staying at this majestic seaside palace, those good sneakers you just bought for this trip are gonna be put to good use as you walk from one end of the Caribbean to the other including across that street.
Pro tip: Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and
Disney's Riviera Resort are next-door neighbors and the latter has its own Disney Skyliner station. I remember swimming in the Aruba section's pool in 2019 while the still unopened Disney Skyliner was testing overhead and looking at a pre-opening Disney's Riviera Resort and planning when I would stay there. From that Aruba section, I'd say it's worth it to just walk to the Disney Skyliner station over there. It's the last stop before
EPCOT and with the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicking off on July 14th you won't want to miss a second!
Graham, thanks for the chat.
Come back again if you have any other questions!
Happy planning!
Taylor
