Gawrsh, James! I'm so glad you found us here at planDisney. No question is too "goofy" for us. Your
Disneyland Resort holiday visit will be here soon, so let's try to see "eye to eye" and find out about some dining options.
I checked the calendar for
Goofy's Kitchen, and while there are available reservations in November, you are correct that dates in December aren't showing any times to book.
While we don't have any concrete information yet, Chef Goofy is currently cooking up a special Halloween buffet and taking reservations for a Thanksgiving feast. That makes me wonder if a holiday event might be on the horizon.
I suggest you watch the website and the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about a possible holiday meal from everyone's favorite tall chef and his pals. That would explain the delay in making those reservations available, but again, that's just a guess based on the current offerings. One thing about Disney is that they love to give guests pixie-dusted surprises!
One of my favorite parades might be happening when you visit, so I hope you can catch
A Christmas Fantasy Parade at
Disneyland Park. Seeing my favorite characters in their holiday finery always puts me in a festive mood. My tip is to scout out a viewing spot near
"it's a small world," and while you're there, check out that attraction's holly-jolly overlay.
James, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and some goofy good cheer, so your upcoming visit will be marvelous and magical. Stop by
planDisney anytime because, in the words of Powerline, "If we listen to each other's hearts, we'll find we're never too far apart!"
Magic awaits,
Elaine
