GoodMorning, My husband is a 100% P&T disabled vet. We are going to DW the week of Jan 11. I am waiting to buy tickets. I can't reserve a spot for going to DW until I have my tickets. Is there a chance we won't get in?

    Hi ya Lisa!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney today, we’re happy to hEAR from you. I’d like to begin by sending a huge thank you from my military family to yours. I’m very excited that you all will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort very soon and even more excited to help you plan for this visit. Let’s begin!

Lisa, you’ll be happy to hEAR that you can actually check the availability to make a reservation in the parks prior to purchasing your tickets. I do recommend taking a look at the Disney Park Pass availability calendar right before you purchase your tickets.  This is an easy way to make sure there is availability for the days you are planning on visiting. I do recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible, so that you can secure a reservation for the dates you intend on visiting. Tip: If your husband is a retired U.S. military member, be sure to check out the specially priced theme park tickets for the U.S. Military Members. These tickets must be purchased prior to December 18,2020 and are valid through September 26, 2021.

Once you have purchased your tickets and have linked them to your My Disney Experience account, you will be all set to make your reservations using the Disney Park Pass system.

I hope this helps answer your question, Lisa. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with prior to or while you're visiting. If you need any other assistance while in the parks, I also recommend visiting Guest Services. They are able to help make your visit more accommodating, if needed. My oldest Mouseketeer has benefited from the assistance of Guest Services every time we visit, because of his existing medical condition.

    See ya real soon!
