How good is the view with a "theme park view" room at the Contemporary? Really want to know...

Hi, Ian!   My family and I stayed in the Contemporary Tower - Magic Kingdom view over a year ago.  We have gone to WDW 4 or 5 times since to different resorts, but my kids still talk about the vacation we stayed there - they just loved it!

At night, we would sit out on our balcony to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks.   We would keep our drapes open at night so my son could watch the Castle lights from the daybed where he slept.  It really was awesome!

As you look off your balcony, the Magic Kingdom is just off to your right.   When looking down, you will have a view of the parking lot, but you have to look past it!   Across the Seven Seas Lagoon is the beautiful Grand Floridian.   The sunsets are magnificent to watch behind the glorious resort!

The view does come with a cost, it is not cheap!  It is up to you if you think your family will take time in the room to relax and take advantage of the view.  If your family plans to be constantly on the go, then it might not be worth the extra money.    Good luck deciding!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
