Is there a good time for seeing Disney "stars" from the Disney Channel at Disney World? I have a 9 year old daughter who loves Shake it Up and Wizards of Waverly Place. Do the actors and actresses ever make appearances at Disney World?

    Hi Sandra,

Actors and actresses do occasionally make appearances in Disney Parks; however, it's usually not publicized.  A lot of times they'll be around for special events, like the filming of Disney's Christmas Parade.  To avoid crowds of fans following them around and making it difficult for other guests to enjoy the park, these appearances are usually kept fairly quiet.  You never know who you might see on a Disney vacation.

Now occasionally, there are contests on Radio Disney or through the Disney Channel where you could be selected to meet a Disney channel star.  Other than that, I don't really think you can plan on seeing your favorite celebs on your next vacation!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
