what is a good restaurant in the boardwalk area with a somewhat reasonable pace as we have children? we were wanting to get dessert at beaches and cream afterwards.

Hey Ken!  Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I love talking about dining at Walt Disney World, it is such a fun part of vacation!

Have you thought about eating your meal at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop as well?  They've got great cheeseburgers, hot dogs and onion rings and it is what I consider to be perfect place for people dining with kids.  Everything about the restaurant is family friendly right down to the decor and of course, you already know about the desserts.  If you don't want to go all out for the Kitchen Sink, I suggest the No Way Jose.  This yummy sundae combines hot fudge and peanut butter in an unforgettable treat!

If you are not interested in eating at Beaches & Cream for your main meal, maybe look into the ESPN Club.  This place is a major amped up sports bar that is very kid friendly.  There are televisions literally everywhere you look, even in the restroom!  The menu is bar food taken up a notch.  There is even a PB&J Burger on the menu, everyone ravs about it!  Eating at the ESPN Club is a really fun experience and a perfect way to spend a laid back day visiting Walt Disney World's Boardwalk Area.

I hope this gives you an idea of where you might want to dine.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
