What a good quick service lunch for a bday boy(3)? We are eat at Cape May that morning and 'Ohana that night. We be at MK during the day just not sure where to take him.

    Hi John,

You've got a number of great options for quick service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom.  The food in the Columbia Harbour House makes it my favorite quick service restaurant, but I'm going to suggest something different for your three-year-old birthday boy.

I don't know too many three-year-old boys who don't love to watch moving vehicles.  If you take him to Pinocchio's Village Haus in Fantasyland and select a table by the windows on the left of the restaurant, he can watch the boats as they come and go through It's A Small World.  I bet that would be a hit!

Another option is to take him to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland.  Your son could either watch the animatronic Sonny Eclipse perform during lunch or you could all enjoy a beautiful view of Cinderella Castle from the enormous windows looking out onto the central hub of the Magic Kingdom.  I love watching parades from this vantage point. They have some lovely food options here too.

Please wish your son a happy birthday from the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
