Where would be a good place to view "Once Upon a Time" and "Wishes" at the Magic Kingdom?

    Hello, Druanne,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Wishes Nighttime Spectacular and the Once Upon a Time Projection Show are two of my favorite attractions at Walt Disney World and certainly ones my family never misses.  In fact, we are often pursuing the perfect spot to watch them and keep trying many different spots.  In the end for us, we like to get centered in front of Cinderella's Castle, but not too close or with anything obstructing our view such as a tree.  A good guideline we follow is to be near or a bit behind the statue of Mickey and Walt holding hands.  If you'd like to see what all the different spots actually look like, I'd do an internet search for Best Magic Kingdom Fireworks Spots by Tom Bricker; he has a detailed article about the different spots to watch the fireworks complete with photos.

During the day, you may also want to take a moment to look up toward Cinderella's Castle and locate a wire that extends from one of the spires toward Main Street USA.  This is the wire Tinkerbell flies down, and it can be magical to be nearly underneath her as she flies overhead.  When our kids were little, I even sprinkled them with a little glitter to let them know she had given them some pixie dust!
