Hello: Where is a good place to video the night and day parades from? Would it be better to film sitting on the curb or from a standing position. Seen many on Youtube but they look out of focus and lighting behind parade shadow the character faces.Thanks.

    Hi Beatriz,

My favorite spot for viewing the parades at the Magic Kingdom is in Liberty Square.  The daytime and nighttime parades take the same route, they simply flow in opposite directions.  See the guide map for parade route.  I would suggest that you stake out a spot early, across from the Liberty Bell, in front of the stockades.  This will give you an great view of the parade, and you'll have a great site line as the floats turn the corner.  This will make for a great video angle.

For the safety of the performers and that of the float drivers, external video lighting is not permitted.  This may be why the videos you have seen posted are dark.

Have a great time, happy filming!
