Is there a good place for Disney Resort guests to view the castle and fireworks WITHOUT entering MK? We're arriving late afternoon with 2 cranky kids. Planning on a low key dinner and exploring that first night before hitting the parks the next morning.

    Hi Heather!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.  If you are up for a fancy dinner, and from your question it sounds like you might not be, you should have dinner at the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort.  That's because guests who dine there can watch the fireworks from their special private balcony, even if you ate hours earlier (just show your receipt when you return to watch the fireworks).  The view from there is absolutely magical!

For a more low key evening, however, I suggest watching the fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.  The music is usually piped in and the view from the beach is very nice, though not as magical in my opinion as watching Wishes from the top of the Contemporary.

I hope this helps!  Write back with more questions!
