Hi Ronda,
Thanks for stopping by with your question! There isn't an officially published packing list. However, you will find many packing lists in unofficial sites such as mousesavers.com. Most will mention many items including: attire, toiletries, first aid items, electronics and other accoutrement.
Considering only apparel, I recommend packing casual clothing that adheres to the
Disney Theme Parks Dress Code. It is absolutely imperative to pack at least 2 pairs of very comfortable walking shoes. Shorts, khakis, jeans and t-shirts are perfectly acceptable attire for the entire family. I would also suggest packing lightweight jackets (or hoodies) just in case it gets chilly.
Casual sundresses are very appropriate for the theme parks too. Do keep in mind that the Disney Parks are a family-oriented environment, so please use your discretion and common sense.
If you are traveling with little ones, take a look at this
great Disney Parks Blog entry and video. It offers the best vacation packing tips for your little ones!
Do pack one pair of strappy sandals, a cocktail dress, a nice skirt or a pair of Capri pants to go with a dressier blouse. If you plan to dine at some of the fabulous
Fine/Signature Dining restaurants, you will need to adhere to a specific dress code. There are also numerous
Lounges throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and you just might want to dress up a bit for those too.
I hope you found this information useful, Ronda. Please visit us again soon with more Disney vacation planning questions.
