Which Good Neighbor hotels are truly within walking distance to Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney? We are a family of walkers and would prefer that to using transportation. We'd be perfectly fine with up to a 30-35 minute walk.

    Hi Kristi!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so delighted you are planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! One of the things we love about the Disneyland Resort is that everything is so accessible by foot, including the the Downtown Disney District, Disneyland Resort Hotels and many Good Neighbor Hotels.

When you search for Good Neighbor Hotels on the Disneyland Resort website, you can search based on distance to the Resort in the categories "Less than Half a Mile," "Half Mile to 1 Mile," and "More than 1 Mile." The farthest Good Neighbor Hotel is about 2 miles from the Disneyland Resort. Many of these hotels also offer a shuttle service if you do not want to walk. Make sure to call each hotel individually to see if this service is available and how much it costs. In general the hotels located along S. Harbor Blvd and Katella Ave are a very comfortable walking distance. As you said, though, if your family doesn't mind walking a little farther than you may have even more options. You can view a map of all Good Neighbor hotels online as well to visualize where they are in relation to the parks.

Speaking of walking, I can't wait for you to walk right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. as you start your magical vacation. Have a Fantasmic day!
