As a military spouse, I've had the privilege of experiencing many of the wonderful perks available to military members and their families. I recently stayed at a
Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel and am happy to share my insights. For military discounts, I highly recommend calling the hotel directly to ask about their current offers, as these can vary. Please note that parking is typically not included at Good Neighbor Hotels, and nightly fees can add up, so be sure to consider this when booking. The same applies to parking at the Disney theme parks.
While there are some excellent Good Neighbor Hotels, I also encourage you to explore Disney Resort Hotels. Military discounts are often available for Guests staying on-site at Disney properties.
Call Disney, where a friendly Cast Member will let you know about availability. You can also check the latest
special offers, as additional discounts may be available from time to time. One of my favorite benefits of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is complimentary parking for resort Guests. Another perk is the
complimentary transportation throughout the Disney property. My favorite is the Disney Skyliner, which I highly recommend experiencing! With so many
convenient benefits, staying on-site has become a must for my family and me. Be sure to check out the
International Flower & Garden Festival going on now at EPCOT. It's something I look forward to every year.
