Good Morning! We're going to be at WDW for our honeymoon this Oct and would love to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. When are tickets expected to go on sale? Do you have any other event suggestions for mid to late Oct? Thank you,

    Hi Candace,

First and foremost, congratulations on your upcoming marriage! Walt Disney World is the perfect honeymoon destination, in my opinion. My husband and I also honeymooned there and had the time of our lives.

At this time, the official dates have not been announced for the 2014 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. However, historically, these dates come out late spring/early summer. So, be sure to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog and for the most up to date announcements on this fantastic event.

In regards to other special events going on during that time, I would highly recommend enjoying the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. This event is open to all guests with park admission, but purchasing the eats and drinks is an added cost. There are also special seminars and tasting sessions that do require a special reservation. There is also the Eat to the Beat concert series that is also included in park admission. My husband and I saw one of the bands last year and had a fantastic time.

I hope you have a magical "happily ever after!" Feel free to stop back by with more planning questions.
