Good Morning, We are going to Disney World in mid september, is that a good time to go? When should I purchase our tickets online? I was going to do the 4 parks for 4 days ticket package.

    Hi Jennifer!

Thanks for dropping by planDisney!  If you ask me, there is never a bad time to plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I think you'll find September a bibbidi-bobbidi-BOOtiful month to plan a trip!

Jennifer, I love the fall season at Walt Disney World Resort as you may find lighter crowds thanks to kids returning to school and it's also when you'll find two of my favorite events!  While visiting EPCOT, you’ll be able to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.  During this event, you can visit more than a dozen special Global Marketplaces featuring food and beverages from and inspired by different regions of the world.  Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for a Foodie Guide that will highlight some new and returning favorites closer to the event.  Performers for the Eat to the Beat Concert Series were just released today and once again feature fan favorites like Hanson, Boyz II Men, and Tiffany!  Over at Magic Kingdom Park, happy haunts materialize on select nights at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  This special-ticketed event features some incredible entertainment including, my favorite, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

The 4-Park Magic Ticket is a great way to sample all that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer.  With this ticket, you'll be able to enter one theme park per day and visit each theme park once during your stay.  If you need a break during your day, you're welcome to leave and then re-enter that same park later in the day.  Orlando can still be pretty hot and humid in September, so taking a few hours to relax by your resort pool may be a great way to cool off and recharge!  Theme park tickets are non-refundable, but once you have finalized your plans I'd recommend purchasing!  Just keep in mind that these tickets are valid for a limited time and cannot be used after September 22, 2024.

Jennifer, I hope this information is helpful as you plan your visit!  You've got a friend in me here a planDisney and I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have in the future!

    See ya real soon!
