Hello Devon! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I was in a similar situation as you will be this November, Devon, except that there were 4 of us in
The Little Mermaid Standard Room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort instead of 5. In our case, my young son (sleeping in a pack and play) had a terrible cough during our trip that persisted throughout the night. We switched to The Lion King Family Suites when we realized that the situation was negatively impacting our Endlessly Magical experience. Aside from being a little cramped, The Little Mermaid Standard Room is perfect for a young family with an infant sleeping in a pack and play under ideal circumstances.
Your decision revolves around how much time you will be spending in your room, how well your 3 boys get along together in close quarters and how the combination of these two variables may effect your living arrangements. For us, the heftier price for The Lion King Family Suite was easily outweighed by our desire to maintain the magic for my daughter and to create a quiet sleeping space for my son.
If space is a concern for you in The Little Mermaid Standard Room or the price is too steep for a Family Suite, there are
Family Suites at Disney's All-Star Music Resort that provide more room at a lesser cost. However, I heartily recommend the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation as they are amazing!
Pack and plays (with bedding) are available at all Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Just mention that you require a pack and play upon making your reservation, during
online check-in using the My Disney Experience App or by contacting Guest Services at your resort hotel.
Have a Magical Vacation!
