    Daniel from NY Asked

Good Morning, The new App launched today, and new Is no always better! Where do I find the old “ my plans” section in the new App? Danny from Brooklyn NY

Hi, Danny! Thanks for stopping by to see us again here at planDisney!

Danny, in the few days since Disney Genie emerged from the lamp, I've been playing with it to see what it can do. I haven't had a chance to use it in the theme parks yet, but I'm looking forward to putting Disney Genie through its paces on our next visit!

While exploring Disney Genie, I noticed the same thing you did. The "My Plans" page seemed to have disappeared. I really missed seeing all of my plans in one place, so I asked my fellow planDisney panelists if they'd been able to recreate that page. It turns out, we found a way! In your My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen to bring up a search function. If you type "my plans" in the search box, one of the results you'll see is "View Future Plans." Clicking on that gives you the page we've been looking for! I have some Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservations, Disney Park Pass reservations, and dining reservations for an upcoming trip, and I'm able to see them all there in the exact format as the old "My Plans" page.

I know this is a just workaround right now, but hopefully, we'll have an easier way to access this information as Disney keeps working to make Disney Genie's phenomenal cosmic powers work even better!

Now, it's almost time for your vacation to start, Danny! I hope you have a wonderful time, and in the words of Genie himself, "Let's make some magic!"

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
