    Good morning, Our trip is booked for this October in a villa at Old Key West Resort and we are planning to purchase the dinning plan. Can we use Disney gift cards for the gratuity? Best regards, Carmela

    Hi Carmela! You are going to love Disney's Old Key West Resort! The villas are so spacious! It's just like being home...but with the magic of Disney!

    Disney Gift Cards are the BEST! I love giving them as gifts and also buy them throughout the year and use them to pay for my meals and other expenses while at Walt Disney World Resort. I typically apply them to my Disney Resort Hotel room charges periodically throughout my vacation so that I don't have to carry the gift cards with me. Whether you apply them to your room charges or use each card individually throughout Walt Disney World Resort, I have great news! You can use your Disney gift cards for gratuity. It's so nice of you to think about this as I know the gratuities mean so much to the amazing Cast Members who help to make our vacations magical.

    If you decide to apply your gift cards to your room charges, you can use your MagicBand and charge the gratuity to your room. Periodically, throughout your vacation, you can pop into the Hospitality House at Disney's Old Key West Resort and a Cast Member at the front desk can apply your gift cards to your folio. It's absolutely whatever works best for you!
