Welcome back to planDisney, Shirley!
In my experience, a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth always feels a bit more magical when shared with those you love most, so I'm thrilled you'll be spending time with your children and grandchildren during your upcoming visit. Can you believe that it's less than two weeks away? You'll be in the middle of the magic (and seeing it through the eyes of your grandkids) before you know it, so let's get right to your question!
I'm happy to share that
Walt Disney World's complimentary transportation is available to all Guests, regardless of whether or not they are hanging their mouse ears at a Disney Resort hotel. Because parking at
Disney's Pop Century Resort is reserved for Guests of the hotel, your daughter and son-in-law will need to utilize a rideshare service such as Lyft when they come to meet you. The Cast Member at the entrance to the Resort might ask them a few questions, so I encourage them to have your name and room number ready to provide.
Since you're hoping to make the most of your time together, I think it would be a great idea for them to arrive a bit earlier than you intend to head to the theme parks. This would allow everyone to
grab a quick breakfast or explore the fun theming of the hotel. Don't miss the larger-than-life Mickey telephone! I also wanted to remind you that Pop Century is located along the
Disney Skyliner, so if you're headed to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios you'll want to use this instead of a bus.
If not everyone in your family has theme park tickets for the entire length of your stay, the Skyliner also connects to
Disney's Riviera Resort and
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. These Disney Resort hotels are home to incredible theming and dining, so they are
practically perfect places to explore, dine, and make magical memories together beyond the theme parks.
I hope this was helpful, Shirley, and that you have a great vacation filled with moments that become cherished memories. If you need any additional information or recommendations, please don't hesitate to
reach back out. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
