Hi Chelsea,
I'm thankful that Uncle Bob's
incredible gift brought you to planDisney. Is Uncle Bob's last name by any chance Parr? Generosity is one of the greatest superpowers of all and I'd love to help guide your next steps for unlocking the magic left in those tickets.
Currently,
valid park admission, a
park pass reservation, and a
method of entry are the requirements for entering the
theme parks. The digital space that houses all of this important information is your
My Disney Experience account. When you go to
link a ticket to your My Disney Experience account online, Guests with tickets purchased before 2010 are instructed to call (407) 939-4357. Similarly, when trying to link tickets in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, Guests with tickets purchase before 2007 are instructed to call (407) 939-6204. Your 1997 tickets definitely require a call and I'm confident a helpful Cast Member at either one of these numbers will be able to help you convert the magic left in those
unexpired theme park tickets to current park admission currency. Be aware that wait times can be extensive as many Guests are answering magic's call during
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration. The phone lines are open 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. and I recommend calling first thing in the morning or late at night for the lowest wait times.
Fall is a
boo-tiful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival is the source of some of my most vivid core food memories and the excellence of the seasonal eats is matched by the seasonal decor throughout the parks. I just know you and your party of supers will have an incredible vacation.
As you continue to plan Disney, Chelsea, be sure to
planDisney.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
