Welcome to planDisney, Debbie!
Now that's the way to kick start the New Year! A January vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. This is actually one of the best times of the year to visit. The parks are less busy and the weather isn't hot (in fact, you'll want to bring some warm clothes!). I'm sure you're going to have a great time.
I'm glad to hear that you've got your hotel booked. There's nothing quite like staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. I recently stayed at Gran Destino Tower at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and loved it! I've never been disappointed with a Disney hotel. Make sure you become familiar with all the
magical benefits of staying on property.
Debbie, as of yet, Theme Park tickets for 2023 are not available. However, when we look back on previous years, we see that Disney typically makes Theme Park tickets for the following year available for purchase around June. Therefore, here's what I recommend you do: as we head into the next month, keep checking the
tickets page on the Walt Disney World website. Once they become available for purchase, you can either purchase them separately or
call Disney to modify your reservation to a vacation package.
In the meantime, think about what kind of tickets you'd like. I always love having the
Park Hopper Option so that I can visit multiple parks a day. Also, since I love to experience as many attractions as possible, I like to upgrade my tickets to include
Disney Genie+.
I hope you have an enchanting vacation, Debbie!
See ya real soon!
Mike
