Good Morning!! Is it possible to do a mobile order at Capt. Cook’s at the Polynesian and be able to bring that with us to Tambu Lounge as long as we order from Tambu Lounge as well which we definitely will lol

    Hiya Kellie! Welcome to planDisney!

How exciting! Only a week away until you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Whether you are staying at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or just visiting for the day, you are in for an amazing treat! I was lucky to stay here this past weekend and I lived my Polynesian Resort dream! The dining locations at this resort are some of the best at Walt Disney World! Kona Café offers an amazing breakfast that features a couple of staple items, including the Macadamia Nut Pancakes that I cannot visit without eating! If you're a Dole Whip connoisseur like my family is, make sure to check out Pineapple Lanai for variations of your favorite frozen snack!

In regards to your question about the Tambu Lounge, it will be up to the discretion of the Cast Members working if bringing food from another dining location is allowed. I would check upon arrival before placing your mobile order at Capt. Cook's in the case that you are not allowed to do so. I had a drink here this past weekend and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received while here. Tambu Lounge does have a small appetizer menu that is offered at the bar, so you will have options to eat here if needed.

If you end up eating at the Lounge, make sure to try Capt. Cook's at some other point during your stay. I was very impressed with many of the food options here, including the Thai Coconut Meatballs and the Aloha Pork Sandwich. It was the perfect stop for our little ones as well. Not only did they have the staples; cheeseburgers, mac & cheese, and chicken nuggets, but they also had these delicious chicken skewers that were authentic to the theming of the restaurant. I highly recommend eating here on multiple occasions if you can!

But the hidden gem (well maybe not so hidden) is Trader Sam's Grog Grotto located near Capt. Cook's. The space is themed to a tropical tiki bar and it's not easy to get in, as you will need to stand in line early to put your name on the waiting list. If you have time to spare, once your name is called, you are bound to have a great time. The Cast Members are fully engaged and have an absolute blast interacting with the Guests. They also offer a limited menu with some fantastic options!

Kellie, I hope you have a magical time during your stay! Stop back to planDisney any time with additional planning questions!

    See ya real soon!
