First things first, let's celebrate that you have found a few magical items to order. As we wait for our next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, we have also found some happiness in the occasional magical delivery. When I checked the
shopDisney website, Australia is still listed as an option for international shipping although delivery is not available to the Heard & McDonald Islands. Please review the
additional updates on international shipping, note that
shipments may be delayed and check the shipping rates as you explore your options.
I did reach out to our team at shopDisney and the representative with whom I spoke said that some items may not be available to ship to Australia. She advised to check the individual items and look for the estimated delivery times. Currently, if the item says that the estimated shipping time is one week, then the item is being shipped from Disney directly and can be shipped to Australia. If the shipping estimate is two to three weeks, then the item is being shipped from a vendor and cannot be shipped to Australia. If one item in your cart has the longer estimated shipping time, then that will prevent you from placing the entire order. So, check each of your items. Once you remove the item(s) with the longer estimated shipping times, you should be able to place the remainder of your order.
Amanda, I know this may be disappointing, but at least now we know! And, it means that there may be another item you could order instead and have shipped. I am just happy that magic is still being delivered! Right now, we all need a little pixie dust.
