Hi Gayle! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
If you purchased your standard admission tickets directly through Disneyland Resort, you should already have a theme park reservation. During the transaction, you're asked to select your preferred park day and preferred park, which becomes your theme park reservation. Let's see if we can't get to the bottom of your issues, however, and check on those reservations for your peace of mind!
First, navigate to the Disneyland Resort website and sign in to your MyDisney account. Hover over the "My Disneyland" dropdown menu on the top right side of the page. Select "Ticket and Reservation Details." If this is the account you purchased your tickets under, I suspect you'll find your tickets and confirmed
reservations on the next page by clicking "Make or Modify Park Reservations." If you already have linked tickets and confirmed reservations, you'll see them confirmed on the next page that loads, and then you're good to go! Just download the
Disneyland mobile app to easily scan into the parks. Sign in to your MyDisney account on the app and select the "My Tickets and Passes" tile to bring up the tickets to be scanned at the entrance by a friendly Cast Member.
If you don't see a theme park reservation but have a linked ticket, you can select an available park and date to confirm a reservation following the instructions I've just given. You can also modify an existing reservation if your originally selected park or date doesn't match your current needs. Just remember 1-day tickets are priced according to Tiers. If you choose a higher Tier than the one you originally selected, you'll have to pay the difference, but if you select the same or lower Tier, there is no price adjustment. Prices and terms are subject to change.
Availability of theme park reservations is also not guaranteed. Days and parks can fill up. So make those changes early if need be for the best availability!
However, if you didn't see a reservation or a ticket linked to make a reservation, hover over the "My Disneyland" menu again and select "Link Tickets." Follow the prompts to enter the ticket ID number included in your confirmation e-mail. If you run into problems where the website doesn't want to let you link, sign out, close the web browser or Disneyland mobile app, and try again. If all else fails, please call the
Tickets phone line and have your ticket ID ready so they can assist you. They're always happy to help in any way they can.
Also, play around with the Disneyland mobile app before your arrival. Being familiar with the app takes the frustration out of trying to use it after you've scanned into the park and want to focus on the magic. Even though I'm familiar with the app, I always poke around in it to remind myself where everything is located. The app is a great tool! You can mobile order food and beverages, check wait times, navigate with the map, check Entertainment schedules, locate Characters, and more!
I hope you have a magical time.
Elizabeth
