Hi Teresa,
Thanks for coming back to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love when Guests allow us the honor of helping to plan their Disney vacations, and we're all so excited for your upcoming family vacation!
I have some great news for you. While spring break season may a popular time to visit, Table-service meals are not really that affected by the overall crowd size. They're actually a GREAT way to spend your time! Because many Table-service restaurants function at full or nearly-full capacity throughout most of the year, they have the
dining reservation system down to a science. Regardless of the time of year you're visiting, I'd tell you to expect a short wait for your table after you check in, then once you're seated, you'll be able to enjoy your meal at your own pace. My family has found that, on average, we usually spend around an hour and a half at a Table-service meal, although that time may certainly vary if we're ordering multiple courses or are in a hurry because of an upcoming show time or FastPass+ selection that we don't want to miss.
One thing that my family loves to do both at home
and during our Disney vacations is to go around our table at dinner each night and share our favorite memories from the day. I love this special time to not only enjoy some delicious food (Mmm...does
Epcot ever have some scrumptious places to eat!), but to rest our feet and just enjoy being together, celebrating all of the fun we've had. I'm sending some pixie dust that your Epcot dinners will be a really special part of your vacation, too.
Please keep your questions coming, Teresa, as we're always here and happy to help. I hope that you and your family have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation this spring!
Missy
