Buonasera Christopher, thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Making sure you are there with an opportunity to capture that special moment is something I will be more than happy to help with.
Visiting the
Magic Kingdom Park on your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort is always the main attraction. Walking down Main Street U.S.A. is magical whether it is your first or fiftieth visit. When you see Cinderella Castle as you approach make sure to keep a lookout for cast members in green shirts. They can take pictures for
Disney's PhotoPass Service and get that memorable shot while ensuring everyone is in view. The cast member will then give you a card or use your
My Disney Experience App to link your photos. I usually download them immediately and make them my screensaver right away.
The sun usually sets at the Magic Kingdom Park in August traditionally around 8 p.m. At that time if you make your way toward the back of Fantasyland, you will see Rapunzel Tower in the background. There you can find a cast member there ready to create this iconic photo with that famous glowing lantern a reality. The hours of operation are subject to change without notice, so be sure to check your My Disney Experience App to make sure it is available on the day of your visit. Punzie is my favorite princess by far, so I think this is one of the coolest pictures available at any of the parks. I would recommend getting a snack and make your way to a good viewing spot for the fireworks extravaganza
Happily Ever After which is returning this April to the Magic Kingdom.
I hope this information was helpful and if you have any other questions be sure to head back to planDisney and we will be happy to help with your planning needs.
Have a magical day!
Jeremy A.
