Hello, Emma!
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. I bet you are excited about your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Wish. My family sailed on the
Disney Wish last fall, and we loved every second of it! With the spectacular entertainment, fun pools, and tasty food, we did not want to disembark!
We have dietary restrictions in our family, and I understand how important it is to know that you can find preferred food when traveling. Since Disney Cruise Line usually offers a variety of plant-based choices, Guests do not need to pre-order specific vegan meals at this time. However, you can notify the cruise team of your preferences on the Disney Cruise Line website. Log into your MyDisney account on the
website, and under "Already Booked", select "My Reservations". Find "Special Requests", and select "Vegan" under
"Dietary Preferences". Requests should be added to your reservations at least five weeks before your trip.
Most menus have plant-based items, and many other menu items can usually be modified to meet your needs. On the first night of your cruise, I recommend talking to your Lead Server in the restaurant about your dietary preferences and the type of food you like to eat. The dining teams at dinner generally stay with the same Guests for the entire voyage, and they do an amazing job of accommodating their Guests' needs! The Lead Server can also help you pre-order meals for the next day (such as delicious, plant-based Mickey-Shaped Waffles!). With my family's dietary restrictions, we were able to request food choices not on the menu. Start thinking of your favorite meals now to share with the dining team!
Emma, have a wonderful trip aboard the Disney Wish! We hope to see you real soon!
Happy sailing!
Jen
