Hey Stacey-
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see you are ready to "hop" into action. Easter is a wonderful time of year. With butterflies fluttering by and bunnies hiding eggs, Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot are alive with Easter. Actually there are touches of Easter at each theme park including parades, specialty treats like cupcakes, dancing hippos (yes, dancing hippos) and Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny.
The Easter Parade this year immediately preceded
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and will likely occur again next year. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny usually take time to stop by Magic Kingdom Park to visit with Guests for a picture or two. Make sure to ask them, "What's HOPPening?" Keep your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog for special Easter announcements as Easter approaches. Events may change from year to year and the Disney Parks Blog is the best resource for happenings around Walt Disney World Resort.
If you venture over to Epcot get ready for beauty as the
Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom. Similar to this year we should expect Easter festivities to compliment this magnificent event of food and topiaries with a fantastic
Easter Egg Hunt.
Disney Dad Tip: The best places to view parades is along the elevated wooden walkway in Frontierland near the Country Bear Jamboree or just in front of the Hall of Presidents attraction in Liberty Square. Be sure to be there at least 30 minutes before the parade begins.
Stacey, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
