Good morning, I was curious as to whether or not I can use my dining plans credits to purchase my guests meal? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Donna k

Hi Donna! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I bet you are excited to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon! It sounds like you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and using a Disney dining plan, too. I'm getting hungry just thinking about all of the delicious treats you are about to munch!

Beginning last year in 2017, those on a Disney dining plan are now able to use their meal entitlements to purchase another Guest's meal. If you are planning to dine with a friend that is not on your Disney Resort hotel reservation and is not participating in a Disney dining plan, then you can use one of your meal entitlements to pay for their meal if you wish to do so. I hope you get an enthusiastic "Thank you!" and big hug in return for your kind gesture!

I know you'll have the best visit during this Incredible Summer, Donna! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Happy dining!
