Good morning . My 10 year old Son would like to sign up for Jedi Training Academy at DHS. We are going on a day that DHS has Morning Extra Magic hours. Does sign up begin at 8am or 9am ?? Thank you

    Hi Ted,

Great question! It just so happens that several Moms Panelists are down at Walt Disney World right now and I asked my fellow Panelist Marc L to do some "field research" for me while he is down there. He spoke to the Cast Members at the Star Tours attraction for you today. If Extra Magic Hours are at 8:00 a.m., then sign ups for the Jedi Training Academy begin at 7:45 a.m. When the park opens at the regular time at 9:00 a.m., then sign ups begin at 8:45 a.m. Marc discovered that they have been opening the parks about 20 to 30 minutes before rope drop to let people in. The rides aren't open yet, but people can walk up to the rides and start lining up. The Cast Member also told him that the Jedi Training Academy is now the second most popular attraction in Hollywood Studios! You'll definitely want to plan on getting there early so your little Jedi can learn the ways of the force.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation filled with magical memories,

    Kaylene
