Ahoy there, Tammy!
We're thrilled to welcome you onboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Here's something to celebrate:
so much is already included when setting sail with Disney Cruise Line, from fabulous food, exceptional service,
Broadway-caliber shows, and special memory-making moments with beloved Disney characters!
Credit you with an excellent question! I love the way you are approaching your Disney cruise by planning how to maximize those Disney dollars. Being a
Disney® Visa® Cardmember has its privileges. For one, by using your card to book your vacation, you can actually earn reward dollars to spend on your sailing! Even better, you CAN redeem your Disney reward dollars towards
all Disney Cruise Line purchases charged to your stateroom account, including Port Adventures and gratuities! You'll also receive
special perks when using the Disney® Visa® card as your form of payment on the cruise, like savings on
digital photo packages, merchandise,
onboard spa treatments, and Castaway Cay packages.
Here’s how to use your reward dollars for charges to your stateroom account. Step 1: Request a Rewards Redemption Card on the Disney Visa website. The reward dollars earned will either be loaded on a new redemption card or a prior one if you’ve already received a redemption card. Step 2: Once you receive your redemption card,
contact Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent to apply the balance of your redemption card to your stateroom account. There’s a great
Disney Rewards video that shows you how to request the Rewards Redemption Card before your sailing.
Finally, keep your Rewards Redemption Card handy because if your stateroom account charges do not exceed the reward dollars that you added, any remaining reward dollars will be placed back on the card. Hmm, what could you possibly use that remaining money for...perhaps
a placeholder for a future Disney cruise? Having another sailing with Captain Mickey on the horizon makes getting off the ship a little easier, I always say!
Tammy, we'd love it if you would put us in charge of answering more of your cruise vacation questions. Wishing you an amazing voyage!
