Good morning!! We are going to WDW in May and I’m curious about the magical transportation. We are traveling with our 4yo who of course is still using a car seat. Should I bring her car seat with us for the ride to our resort and then back to the airport?

Hey there Elizabeth and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so excited to help you with your Disney planning needs.

When guests are visiting Walt Disney World and use the complimentary transportation from and to Orlando's International Airport, Mickey's youngest visitors won't need to bring a car seat on the motor coach. Disney's Magical Express buses are not equipped with seatbelts to restrain the car seat safely. If you plan to use a car seat on your flight down, it can be stored underneath the bus while you hold your little ones you travel to your resort. You can then retrieve it once you arrive at your Disney resort from underneath the bus and keep it in your resort room until your departure.
If your little one doesn't require a car seat on the flight, I would suggest to leave it at home. When choosing a seat on Disney's Magical Express, I always sit near the middle of the bus. I sit near the aisle, while my little sits near the window. The seat in front of us helps to add a bit of protection, in case the bus makes a sudden stop.

Elizabeth, don't forget your stroller. You can bring one with you or rent one from each theme park. Also, there are three Disney featured providers that you can choose from to have a stroller delivered and picked up from your Disney resort. We always make sure to have a stroller during for our Disney vacation. If you decide to bring your stroller, make sure that it meets the size requirements

Have the most magical time ever!
