Good Morning! I am trying to plan a trip for my family for Jan. 2018. I will have a 6 & 3 year old. We are going to try and stay at AOA or Riverside. Can you participate in other activities at other hotels other than the one we are staying in ?

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, Reagan! It’s going to be a wonderful day! Your family is going to have plenty of sunshine headin’ your way on your 2018 vacation.

When you stay on property at any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you can enjoy amenities at any Hotel on the Resort. If you’re staying at Art of Animation, you can “resort hop” over to Port Orleans Riverside to visit The Fishin’ Hole, a quiet, catch and release spot in the big pond, complete with bait and tackle rentals. If you’re staying at Pop Century, you can swing by the Disney’s Boardwalk Resort to rent a Surrey Bike and ride around the beautiful Boardwalk and all it’s bridges, right past Epcot’s International Gateway. Likewise, if you’re staying off property at a hotel that Disney does not own, you can park at any resort for three hours to enjoy a meal or dinner show like Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s Spirit of Aloha.

In the past, I’ve loved staying at the Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, but I miss the ever-available Beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter. It was easy to go and get my Louisiana sugar-fix on our last trip before heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I hope you enjoy the amenities and recreation of the entire Walt Disney World Resort on your trip… and lookout for Mr. Bluebird! ~Lindsey P.
