Good morning, I am travelling with my mother and 16 year old daughter in August- we can not wait!! My daughter suffers from anxiety and I wondered how I could find out about the DAB programme please?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kelly!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. Wow, Kelly, what a magical vacation this is going to be, and it is coming so soon! How excited are you? I have the most wonderful memories from my trips to the Walt Disney World Resort with my family, so I cannot wait for you to make magical memories with your family too.

One of the things I love most about the Disney Parks is that everyone can enjoy the Disney magic no matter their background. The Disability Access Service is one of the many services the Disney Parks offer to help Guests with disabilities have the most magical vacation. This service is intended for Guests who cannot wait in conventional lines for reasons other than mobility issues. There are two ways to register for this service: online through a live video chat (currently only available in the U.S.) or in person with a Guest Relations Cast Member. Then, you will be able to select return times for your favourite attractions during your visit or in advance with a Cast Member. If you have any questions about this service, I highly recommend reading through the Disability Access Service page online or talking to a Cast Member before or during your trip. Guest Relations Cast Members are great at helping you register for this service and answer your questions respectfully and comfortably.

To make using this service even more convenient, I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app in time for your trip! Indeed, Guests registered for the Disability Access Service can now select their return times on the mobile app by selecting the attraction they want to visit and clicking on the Disability Access Service logo. The mobile app has also become a staple in my Disney vacations because of other features such as the Mobile Food and Beverage Orders! Being able to order your meal or snack in advance and being able to skip the line at the register is a total game changer, especially for those like me who get "hangry!" Lastly, the My Disney Experience mobile app allows you to check into your Disney Resort hotel room and even unlock your door with your smartphone, so you can spend more time creating memories with your family.

I hope this was helpful, Kelly, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club now, and you're as welcome as can be!

    Have a magical day,
