Hey there Amy and welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on your incoming little Mouseketeer! A new baby and a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is definitely a way to start 2023 off with a bang and I'm so happy to be helping you.
The Disney Parks are designed with Guests of all ages in mind. There are some attractions that are definitely baby-friendly like
"it's a small world" or
Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Magic Kingdom Park to name a couple. You'll mostly want to stick with
attractions marked for all ages and any height to have your baby ride with you. If you want to experience some attractions with height requirements that would be too much for your new little bundle of joy, you've got a friend in the
Rider Switch Service. Just talk to one of the Cast Members at the front of the line for your attraction. One of your fellow adult travelers can go for a spin on the ride while you wait with your baby. Once they're done, you'll be able to take your turn without any extra wait time while they hang on to your little prince or princess.
And now for a few pro tips for traveling with a new little person:
1. There are amazing
Baby Care Centers in each of the four theme parks that are lifesavers for new parents. They have all sorts of necessary supplies available for you and your baby's needs. Plus they're a lovely, quiet place for you both to take a breather.
2. Take lots of pictures! Even though your baby won't remember this trip, you will. Consider adding
Memory Maker to your vacation to get all those
Disney PhotoPass pictures of special firsts like
meeting Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater.
Amy, I hope I've given you some resources to have a wonderful time on your trip. If you have any other questions,
please come back to see us!Happy planning!
