Good morning, we are going to be staying at POP in October and wondering if it is okay to bring my own coffee pot (my taste buds don't care for Disney coffee) and toaster.

    Hi Susan,

I just stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort less than one month ago.  What a colorful, fun resort!  You're going to have a blast.

I did notice while staying at this resort that there are no coffee makers in the resort rooms.  Unfortunately, Disney does not encourage guests to bring small electronic appliances (like coffee makers) into their hotel rooms, for safety reasons.  Your best bet is to purchase a refillable mug in the Everything Pop Food Court if you need that morning cup of coffee to get you going.  Then you can refill it, with coffee, tea, or soft drinks, for the length of your stay.  If you prefer to avoid traditional Disney coffee, then I suggest a visit to The Kona Cafe in Disney's Polynesian Resort (a short boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom).  My husband is a big coffee fan and that's his favorite place to get coffee while visiting Walt Disney World.

Best wishes for a magical October stay at Walt Disney World!
