Good morning. We are going to be staying on-site for this year's 4th of July. I was wondering where can we get a full list of activities for the week of the 4th for America's 250th?

    Welcome back to planDisney, James!

Independence Day celebrations are a big deal in my family; my mom was born on the 4th of July, so there is always a huge party. However, nobody celebrates this holiday better than Walt Disney World. From fireworks and fun festivities to everything red, white, and blue, WDW celebrates spectacularly. And for the country's 250th? I'm sure it's going to be even bigger!

When making those plans for your upcoming visit, first take a look at Disney Parks Blog's post "Disney Celebrates America: Festivities Announced for America's 250th Anniversary." There, you'll see special Disney events including the final weeks of Portraits of Courage, the introduction of Soarin' Across America, and, everyone's favorite, three nights of "Disney's Celebrate America!--A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky". You'll be able to catch this absolutely outstanding 360 degree spectacular on July 3, July 4, and July 5. It's so impressive, you might want to see all three!

James, when we plan to be at WDW over the 4th of July, we always look to see additional festive activities at our resort hotel, so be sure do the same upon your arrival. You'll see a list of things to do on Recreation Activities signs at your hotel, and there's a QR code there you can scan to learn more. We've enjoyed special poolside activities, patriotic trivia contests, photo ops, and festive treats. So much fun! Throughout the parks, look for characters in July 4th attire, holiday-themed snacks, plus more decor than you can imagine.

As we get closer to July 4th, WDW will release even more details about all of the festive fun, so be sure to check back from time to time to catch up on the latest. For an idea of what might be in store this year, take a look at Disney Parks Blog's post from last year. "4 Ways to Celebrate Fourth of July at Walt Disney World Resort" provided a great look into the oh-so-many special activities, treats, and meet-and-greets held in 2025. I can't wait to see what's in store for 2026!

Be sure to bring your red, white, and blue gear, James, because all of the parks and resorts will be in their patriotic finest, too. As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
