good morning! We will be sailing in Disney Magic on March 10, 2014 for 4 night Bahamas cruise. It's our first time in Disney cruise and we are excited. My question will be the dress code for dinners and are we allowed to bring outside food like chips.

    How exciting, Zorayda!

Your countdown begins now, and I'm sure excitement is filling the air in your household already. It is wonderful to know that you will get to experience your first Disney Cruise on the re-imagined Disney Magic. You and your family will surely be in for a treat!

The 4-day cruises have a suggested attire each night. 1st night is usually cruise casual. That would mean the same type of outfits that you would wear, when you go out for a movie or a casual restaurant when you're back home. The 2nd night is Dress Up night (formal), and you could get all glammed up for this night. If you choose to mellow it down a little, you can wear whatever you would wear to a nice restaurant on date night. Do note that the professional photographers set up exclusive Disney Cruise backgrounds in the atrium in the evenings for nice family pictures. These make wonderful souvenirs!  The 3rd night is cruise casual with a highly encouraged Pirate theme for Disney's signature Pirate Night Party that evening. If you have time, stop by a local party store and pick up some pirate costumes or pirate gear. Maybe some glow in the dark items as well. You'll look cool while on deck... again, these make great pictures for sharing with friends & family. The 4th night is also cruise casual.

You are welcome to bring in outside snacks and chips with you. You can even bring your own wine if you'd like. Some families have favorite comfort snacks for the little ones, so please feel free to pack some too. Dining on the Disney Cruise is a wonderful experience, so try to save room to try a few items on the menu each night.

I hope this helps. Do let us know if we can try to answer anything else.

    Bon voyage!
