Hiya Karl - welcome to
planDisney!
As a fellow coffee lover, I can certainly understand your desire to enjoy your own elevated coffee selections during your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. To answer your question, it depends! There are different styles of coffee makers at different Resorts, and even different models at the same Resort in different types of Guest rooms.
It looks like you'll be arriving in just a couple of days, so I'm guessing you've already made your Disney Resort hotel reservation. If you write back with your specific Resort and Room Type, we should be able to do some research and get you an answer based on the information we have. That being said, many of the
Deluxe Villas will have a standard-style coffee maker. When they do, the provided coffee is typically a pre-filled filter bag, but you would be able to bring filters and coffee and use them normally as well. Based on most of my recent stays, however, most rooms are currently equipped with some version of a pod or cartridge-based coffee maker.
Many Resorts do have expanded coffee offerings, so that may be an alternative depending on where you are staying. One of my personal favorites is
Le Petit Café at
Disney's Riviera Resort. There are also Joffrey's and Starbucks locations scattered throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I've also traveled with and used an Aeropress in the past when I've been uncertain about what my options might be - that might be worth checking out too!
I hope this information is helpful -
swing back by with more details and one of us should be able to provide a more specific answer!
