Good morning, My question for you is how to put our Head Coach as the Grand Marshall of the Main Street Parade. We are coming down for our 3rd trip to Disney Spring Training. The hope was to put our Head Coach into the Parade. Can it be done?

    Hey there, Robert!

Welcome to planDisney, where Guests help Guests make the most of their visits to Disney Destinations! Thank you for stopping by with your exciting Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. Oh boy... it sounds like you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with your sports team in the springtime! Robert, I'd be happy to help you make your Magic Kingdom Park day a grand slam.

Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is a riveting and colorful celebration that usually winds its way through Magic Kingdom Park twice per day. Its fantastic floats are topped by fan-favorite Disney Characters, including Mickey Mouse and pals, as well as many other classic fairytale friends! Robert, each day, families or individuals are selected by designated Cast Members to serve as the parade's Grand Marshals. As Grand Marshals, these Guests will lead the parade in a special vehicle and enjoy special reserved viewing for the remainder of the procession! Unfortunately, there's no way for Guests to vie for this position, as the role is chosen by Cast Members at random. However, I'd like to share a couple of suggestions for how to make your park day extra magical:
    • When you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, stop by a Guest Relations location and request a complimentary celebration button. These buttons indicate to Cast Members and other Guests that you're celebrating a special occasion and, while never guaranteed, can sometimes result in the occasional sprinkling of pixie dust!
    • Consider making a dining reservation during your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth. When you check in for your reservation, you'll have the option to indicate whether you're celebrating a special occasion. With the help of your server, you could create a magical moment for your coach!
Robert, I hope you've found these recommendations helpful as you prepare for another exciting spring training trip at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to revisit planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
