Hi, Anahi!
First of all, I would like to thank you for your contributions to the health and well-being of the community. The past few years have been a struggle for the whole world. But the sacrifices and efforts you and others in the healthcare industry have made help to get us all through those struggles and make the world a better place.
Now, let's take a look at one of my favorite topics: saving money on a Disneyland Resort vacation. That's an important topic to me because the more I save on visits to the Disneyland Resort, the more often I get to visit!
The first place to check for savings on a Disneyland Resort vacation is the
Offers & Discounts list on the Disneyland Resort website. These offers change frequently. So it's worth keeping an eye on the list throughout the process of planning your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. If you or a member of your immediate party is a member of the U.S. Military, be sure to check out current
ticket offers and current
hotel discounts available to active and retired service members.
Savings on Disneyland Resort vacations are available to all qualified
Disney Visa Cardholders. Cardholders can use
Disney Rewards Dollars accumulated over time through everyday card use. And there are even
special discounts and exclusive perks at the Disneyland Resort for Disney Visa Cardholders as well. Another cardholder benefit is
special financing on select Disney vacation packages.
Tony's Tip: If you are concerned about signing up for a credit card with an annual fee, there is another option available to gain access to Disney Rewards benefits. Besides the Disney Premier Visa Card, you may also be interested in applying for a Disney Visa Card. The Disney Visa Card has fewer Rewards Dollars redemption options when
compared to a Disney Premier Visa Card, a lower rate of earning Disney Rewards Dollars, and a smaller statement credit offer for new applicants. It also has no annual fee and many of the same benefits and opportunities for savings. It may be worth making some calculations based on your expected spending to determine which of the two card types is best for your needs.
My all-time favorite way to save on a Disneyland Resort vacation is to purchase Disney Gift Cards at a discount from select warehouse clubs or with store credit cards or rewards programs from certain retail stores, like
Target. Lately, I have been purchasing discounted gift cards and transferring them to previously purchased
eGifts purchased from shopDisney that I can conveniently store in the mobile wallet of my phone. I love being able to use my mobile wallet for contactless payments at many dining and merchandise locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. If you happen to be interested in other ways to save on your Disneyland Resort vacation, my fellow planDisney Panelist
Kristen has some super magical tips as well. And, of course, you can keep coming back to planDisney to ask for more advice and tips.
I hope you have a magical time, Anahi!
