Good morning, I purchased military tickets but don’t see blackout dates. Are there still black out dates for military tickets in December?

Hey there, hi there, Karina! Welcome to planDisney. We are so happy you stopped by with your ticket question!

It's the merriest time of the year, and it's exciting to hear you are planning a visit this month. It's even more exciting to hear that you were able to take advantage of a military ticket offer! If you purchased the Disney Military Promotional Tickets, I've got really great news for you! This year, the tickets do not expire until December 27, 2025! Our family is taking advantage of this and going for a few days before Christmas, and I am so thankful for the later expiration date this year. If you purchased standard tickets from the military base ticket office, there should be an expiration date on the paperwork.

Now that you have the tickets, the first thing you will want to do is make theme park ticket reservations as soon as possible. Reservations are required along with the tickets for entry into the parks. This can be done through the Disneyland website or Disneyland app after you link your tickets to your MyDisney account. The Disneyland app will be your best friend during your visit. My favorite feature in the app is mobile ordering. This can save so much time and it's also nice to be able to plan ahead, and order your next meal ahead of time if you want.

Karina, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you have a magical visit. Don't forget to check out the Disney Military Promotional Offers for 2026, including the new option of one park per day tickets at a great price!

All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
