Good morning- We are planning a trip for our daughter 5th birthday in March 2020. Any idea how soon I can book the package through Disney? We are planning on staying at the Grand Californian. Also any tips on the best time to travel in March 2020/

    Hello, Joe!

How awesome! Visiting the Disneyland Resort is a wonderful way to celebrate birthdays. Your little princess will love it!

For the most part, I consider just about any time in March a nice time to visit. This year, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival began on March 1. Many Downtown Disney District locations have limited-time offerings for St. Patrick's Day on the 17th. March also kicks off the Spring Break season for a handful of school districts. Although most schools tend to have Spring Break closer to Easter, which is in April next year.

Hotel rates and Vacation Packages are released in the summer for the entire calendar year that follows. The exact time of release varies. Somewhere between the end of June and the middle of August, I would expect the offers to be made available for you. You will love staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I appreciate its gorgeous architecture. And the exclusive entrance to Disney California Adventure Park is so convenient!

    Have a Fantasmic! time, Joe!
