Good morning! We are planning our Disneyland trip the first week of May (May 3-6). I have noticed Savi's is not open for reservations yet and it is in the 60 day window. Just was wondering if May the 4th are impacting those dates. Thank you so much!

    Bright Suns, Holly!

Welcome to planDisney, I'm always happy to meet another aspiring Jedi! Deep within Black Spire Outpost you'll find a covert operation where you can indeed craft your own unique lightsaber. I'd love to help you in your mission to find them!

It is highly recommended to make a reservation to visit Savi's Workshop. Maybe the Jawas were up to their tricks again, or maybe you were searching more than 60 days in advance, but I'm happy to report that as of this morning, I can see plenty of reservation times available during your travel dates! Success! Have you researched your choices for lightsaber themes? Your journey to construct your elegant lightsaber involves choosing the focus of your path—will you choose Peace and Justice, Power and Control, Elemental Nature, or Protection and Defense? You will also select the heart of your lightsaber, a powerful and colorful kyber crystal. The result is a combination totally unique to you! Choose wisely, friend!

Seeing your travel dates makes me think the Force must be strong with your family, indeed. Do you have other plans for your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge? If you really want to learn your way around then I highly recommend joining Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters to explore the outpost and find hidden surprises! You'll need a MagicBand+ and the Play Disney Parks app to join the fun. Keep your eyes open, because you won't be the only bounty hunters out and around...my own little Padawans met the Mandalorian and Grogu during our search!

We don't know what surprises May the 4th might bring to the Disneyland Resort just yet, but I'm hoping we will see some out-of-this-world treats like we did last year! Perhaps we will see the return of the incredible Chocolate Chip Sweet-Sand Cookie (it was SO good) along with some new snacks! Don't forget about my favorite Jedi (mind) trick, you can use mobile ordering to refuel your crew fast. Then you'll get to say "That's not the line I'm looking for!" while you enjoy a shorter wait to get your snack!

A last word of advice, my young apprentice: On May the 4th, Disneyland Park is hosting an after-hours Star Wars event. That means that the park will close to regular guests earlier than usual that evening. If you like to enjoy the parks at night then I recommend purchasing Park Hopper tickets so that you can go over to Disney California Adventure Park and continue exploring after the sun goes down!

Our time grows short, Holly! If you need more help please send along a transmission and I'll answer you at lightspeed. May the Force be with you, always!

    Keep moving forward!
