Good Morning...I plan on doing a 2 week vacation at Disney World next fall..I will be using a ECV during my stay..what attractions can I participate on..I will be able to get off and on attractions walking...exactly how does it work with aECV...Thank you..

Hi there, Paula! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

As someone that must also utilize mobility devices when visiting the parks, I actually have some personal experience navigating your inquiries! Walt Disney World Resort does a phenomenal job providing services for all of their Guests with disabilities and, on a personal level, I am always delighted by the experiences I have as a Guests with a mobility disability!

There are actually quite a few attraction options for Guests that either use wheelchairs or ECVs! There are four different attraction accessibility categories at Walt Disney World Resort: attractions where Guests may in their wheelchair or ECV, attractions where Guests must transfer from their wheelchair or ECV into the ride vehicle, attractions where Guests must transfer from their ECV into a wheelchair, and attractions where must transfer from their ECV into a wheelchair and then from a wheelchair into the ride vehicle. Walt Disney World Resort has actually compiled all of these attraction categories into an incredibly helpful list for Guests to use when planning their vacations! So, depending on your level of mobility, you can either remain in your ECV to experience select attractions or transfer out of it into a ride vehicle. If you choose to transfer, Cast Members will be on hand to take your ECV and transport it to the area where you will disembark from the attraction. If you need any additional assistance, be sure to let a Cast Member know and they will do their absolute best to accommodate you!

I hope this information will assist you in planning for your two-week vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
