Good morning! I have park tickets for my 12 family members on my app. I am wondering if I send them their tickets will they remain on my list so I can make Genie plus reservations for the entire group??

    Hiya Michelle,

Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe that in just a few short days, you will be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth?! I'm a little jealous that you get to visit during the last few weeks of the Halloween season because it is one of my favorite times of the year. The decorations always make me feel super cozy, and all of the Fall treats are beyond yummy. I've been dying to try the new Sweet Corn and Vanilla Soft-Serve Swirl from Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies that the planDisney Instagram account shared today. If you try it, you will have to let me know what you think!

Now let's get you ready for your trip! To make and purchase Disney Genie+ selections from your family, you will need to have them linked to your Family and Friends list on My Disney Experience. Luckily it is the same for assigning Theme Park tickets, so once you add them to your Family and Friends list, you won't have to do it again! When your entire family is linked, you can assign them one of your pre-purchased tickets, add them to dining reservations, and make Genie+ plans for your whole group.

To add a Guest to your Family and Friends List, you can use your linking code or do so manually. If you have not linked them yet, here are some easy instructions on how to do so.

    To do it manually:
-Open your My Disney Experience mobile app and click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner.
-Once the menu opens, scroll down until you see "My Profile."
-At the top are two tabs, "My Profile" and "Family & Friends List."
-Select "Family and Friends List" and scroll until you see the blue plus sign that says "Add a Guest."
-Click it and complete the on-screen prompts to add your family members.
-They will receive an email informing them they have been added, and once accepted, they will appear in your Family and Friends list.

Next, to assign Theme Park tickets to your friend, you will also do so in the My Disney Experience mobile app.
-Click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner
    -Select Tickets and Passes
-Find the Theme Park ticket that is unassigned and select the "Assign Ticket" button.
-Follow the steps on your mobile device and link the tickets to each family member.

One last tip for when you go in to make Disney Genie+ selections later this week, you can make selections for up to 12 Guests for each time slot, so you should be all set to go (as long as the 12 members you are referring to includes yourself). If you have family members with different interests, consider splitting up your group for attractions. One group can go ride thrill rides while others do less adventurous attractions. With Genie+, everyone can have a personalized day!

I hope this was helpful, Michelle! Don't forget to secure your Disney Park Pass Reservations before your trip if you haven't already done so. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can do to help.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
