Good morning Moms panel! We're going for our third trip to Disneyworld in September. As I can see Animal Kingdom will closed at 5PM during our stay and I booked the RainForest Café at 5h30PM. Will we be able to get a bus back to the resort? Thanks

    Bonjour Nancy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

As you may already know, Bus Transportation at Walt Disney World Resort generally runs until at least an hour after a theme park closes. That being said, I understand that Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom often takes dining reservations until an hour after Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park closes. While that would normally make transportation for Guests with later dining reservations tricky, I understand that there is sometimes limited bus service available up until an hour after the last reservation at the restaurant that day.

I strongly encourage you speak to the Concierge at your Resort in order to get more information about the transportation options that will be available to you on the day that you'll be dining at Rainforest Cafe. One thing is for sure: you won't be left stranded! I've even heard that the restaurant has called taxis for Guests in the past, and that Guests were subsequently reimbursed for that expense by their Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. It never hurts to ask!

Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming (third!) visit.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
