Good Morning Panel, I have a split stay with the DQSDP for the 2nd portion of my stay. Do my credits start after check in for the 2nd resort, or will they be available the morning of check-in, like can we grab breakfast after check-out from resort 1?

Hey Howdy Hey Latisha and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort towards the end of March. Springtime is one of my favorite times to visit the resort, especially one park in particular. Before I get too derailed, let's get this wagon train a-movin' and get you answers to your Disney Dining Plan questions!

When you add something like the dining plan to your vacation package, this is a great decision. You usually get your benefits starting on the arrival day of your vacation, not necessarily when you officially check in. You can track your credits either through your My Disney Experience app, your most recent food or drink transaction receipt as well as visiting any Guest Relations or Resort Concierge location and a Cast Member will be happy to check on your remaining credits. Friendly reminder that credits do roll over to the next day and expire at midnight on the day you check out from your resort.

If you want to make the best use of your time in the parks and at the resorts, let's talk really quickly about Mobile Food Ordering available through your My Disney Experience app. Simply log in and tap the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of your screen. Look for the "Mobile Food Orders" tile which you will tap and then select the "Create New Order" button. You can search for many dining locations around the parks and resorts to place your order ahead of time. As you get closer to your dining location and the time of your order, you will see an "I'm Here, Prepare My Order" option you will tap on. Magically, your food and drinks will be ready and you will be notified via your app to pick up your order without waiting in line! You can also use your dining credits to pay for your orders as well. Super easy to do and will save you a bunch of time, especially in the parks.

Springtime is an amazing time to visit Disney World for so many reasons. The biggest reason is to visit EPCOT and check out the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. This celebration of warmer weather and a new growing season has so much to do, experience and taste, that you will want to spend a little time slowing down and enjoying all there is to offer. You will be treated to beautiful flowers and decore throughout the parks unique to this festival as well as have the opportunity to partake in some delicious food and drink offerings celebrating the season. There are also so many entertainment opportunities such as the Garden Rocks Concert Series to check out.

I hope you have a rootin' tootin' good time on your upcoming vacation. If you have any further questions just know you've got a friend in us here at planDisney and feel free to stop back, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
